Recent ActivityThe Geauga County ESC Preschools offer services for children in all seven County School Districts using a curriculum that is aligned to Ohio's Early Learning Content Standards. This curriculum allows teachers to prepare children for kindergarten using developmentally appropriate practices. The framework for the curriculum is the Assessment, Evaluation, Programming, System (AEPS) and The Creative Curriculum, both are scientifically research based and supported by the Ohio Department of Education.

Announcements  PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION!GEAUGA PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION 12/13 SY
January - Parents/caregivers are encouraged to arrange for a visit to see one of our classrooms, if desiredFebruary - "Priority Registration": current tuition paying families are given the opportunity to re-enroll their child for next year. Check with your classroom teachers for deadlines. March (end of February) - New families wishing to enroll may do so on a space available basis. April through....enrollment ongoing until all slots are filled Centerbased classrooms are planned for the following locations for the 2012/2013 school year. Children must be fully toilet trained and at least 3 years old by Sept. 30, 2012: ***NEW CLASSROOM JUST ADDED**** Ledgemont Elementary School (Ledgemont) - one full day preschool classroom (9am to 3pm); includes space for tuition students, low-income families (must qualify), and preschool children with disabilites from Geauga County schools and placed by their district. ****NEW**** Tuition $2500 Gardiner Early Learning Center (Kenston) - planning for two morning and two afternoon classrooms. Some slots available for low income families (dependant upon State funding). Tuition $2100 Park Elementary School (Chardon) - one morning and one afternoon classroom. Tuition $1800 Burton Elementary School (Berkshire) - one afternoon classroom. Tuition $1800 Metzenbaum Center (West Geauga) - one morning and one afternoon classroom. Will follow WG calendar. Tuition $1800 All classes run 5 days a week and follow the school calendar of the district in which they are located. Please call for availabilty or with questions. Families wishing to enroll a child using tuition or low-income slots may reside anywhere - you are not just limited to the district in which the class is located.
